According to the Surfline forecast, Malibu should see some bigger waves (2x overhead) for the next few days. Peaking in the afternoon on Thursday and reaching the maximum on Saturday late morning.
If you are up tor the challenge and your paddle game is strong, then much fun is in order. Places that will see the best surf will be Zuma, County Line and Leo Carrillo while Surfrider will see smaller but good conditions.
Remember on days like this if you are a beginner, is NOT ADVISABLE to go out amongst the breaks. These conditions are for those who surf regularly and have a complete understanding of how wave mechanics work.
Our advise, if you’d like to see the immense force of double overhead wave is to observe from the beach or utilize the shore breaks to works on your pop-ups.
Remember riptides will be strong so be aware of how deep you are in the water, stay shallow and you’ll have a great time.
